EPDP Murder List Shocker – Former Member’s Explosive Revelation!

Jaffna – Shocking testimonies have emerged regarding multiple murders allegedly carried out by the Eelam People’s Democratic Party (EPDP), as revealed by a former member of the party.

At a media briefing held yesterday (Tuesday) at the Jaffna media center, Subbiah Ponnaiya, also known as Satha, made the startling revelations. He stated: “If proper investigations are conducted, I am ready to provide evidence regarding the murders carried out by EPDP. These killings involved innocent civilians, journalists, and lawyers,” he said.

⭓. Mandaitivu Massacre Incident

At the end of August 1990, while the Mandaitivu area was under military siege, 15–20 people were reportedly detained by the army.
EPDP members reportedly requested to see Douglas Devananda, and Satha went in person to meet them.
“Among them was a 13-year-old boy. A few minutes after we saw them, gunfire was heard. All of them were shot dead,” he testified.

⭓. Killing of a Government Officer in Neduntheevu

After taking control of Neduntheevu, government officer Nicholas was asked to meet EPDP leaders. When he refused, he was beaten to death, Satha revealed.

“His body was then hanged,” he added.

⭓.Bodyguard and Lawyer Maheswari Murder

Douglas Devananda’s personal bodyguard was killed under allegations of having links with the LTTE, and lawyer Maheswari from Nelliady was also murdered by EPDP, Satha stated.

⭓. Journalist Arputhan Murder

Arputhan (Ramesh), the editor of the Dinamurasu newspaper, was killed after disagreeing with the EPDP, Satha disclosed.

“They claimed the LTTE had killed these individuals. But in reality, the LTTE did not commit these murders; they themselves carried them out,” he emphasized.

⭓. Rupavahini Employee K.S. Raja Murder

Satha also revealed that K.S. Raja, an employee of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, was killed by EPDP. After being brought from India to work in media activities, he was murdered at Kali Muktidal coastal area by adding cyanide to alcohol when he had disagreements with the EPDP.
