It is with deep sorrow that I learn about the passing of Mr. Yogarajah Sriskantharajah (Sri Anna), who devotedly and wholeheartedly worked for the Tamil nationalist cause from Berlin.
His unwavering commitment to the rights, freedom, and justice of the Tamil people, and his selfless service, will remain a lasting memory for all of us. The loss of his beloved wife three years ago deeply affected him, and though he had been ill in recent months, he never lost his courage and spirit.
Today, we mourn the passing of a true patriot and humanitarian. His memory and dedication will continue to inspire future generations.
My heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his noble work.
May his soul rest in peace.
