21 August 2025, the German Tamil Youth Organization held a meeting with Sascha H. Wagner, a member of the German Parliament from the Left Party, in Oberhausen, and presented some issues to him.
It was emphasized that an international investigation
should be carried out into all matters related to the mass graves discovered in Semmani in the north of Sri Lanka and the denied excavation, human rights violations, war crimes, killings of innocent people, and the situation of the disappeared.
A request was made to him to reveal the injustices being inflicted on the Tamil people, the human rights violations, and the massacres in the German Parliament.
The Tamil diaspora expressed to him about the German government’s warm invitation to the Sri Lankan President, and was asked to voice it in Parliament.
