A 34-year-old man has died in a shooting incident in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka, police said.

The shooting took place at around 8 pm on Saturday (06-12-2025) near the Dehiwala Sports Complex.

The Police Media Unit reported that two men on a motorcycle opened fire and fled.

The injured man died after being admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital.
