Dear Eelam Tamils and Tamil people across our homeland,

As Maaveerar Month begins, all of us must act with heightened awareness and responsibility.

In recent times, it has been observed that some individuals from Eelam and Tamil Nadu have been contacting our people under the pretext of financial assistance or through intimidation, attempting to extort money. It has also come to light that certain persons are closely collaborating with Sri Lankan and Indian intelligence agencies, working with the intention of creating divisions among Tamils.

Behind these manipulative activities, there may be organized extortion networks, intelligence-backed operations, and external forces attempting to destabilize the unity of our Tamil nation.

Therefore, as Tamils, we must all remain extremely cautious and vigilant, especially in the following areas:

1. Avoid Suspicious Communications

Ignore and block any phone calls, text messages, WhatsApp/Telegram contacts, or social media messages that involve requests for money or intimidation of any kind.

2. Be Careful With Financial Contributions

Before responding to any financial request:

• Ensure the organization is trustworthy.
• Confirm that its activities are transparent.
• Verify through reliable sources or those who have previously contributed.
Never entertain private, unverified, or suspicious financial appeals.

3. Reject Attempts to Create Division Among Tamils

Our unity is our greatest strength. Do not fall prey to:
• False information
• Intelligence-driven rumours
• Messages intentionally designed to turn Tamils against each other
Stand firm in safeguarding our collective identity and national unity.

In this deeply emotional Maaveerar Month, standing together to protect the safety, dignity, and unity of our people is the truest tribute we can offer to our Maaveerar.
