Longing for Liberation: The Prabhakaran Epic

Hero of the battlefield! Epic leader supreme!
The unmatched spear of Tamil national dreams!
Shadow of priceless courage – it is you,
The address of our liberation front, our guiding light!

You are leadership itself – the pathfinder of Tamils,
Discipline and virtue flow with every breath of yours.
A magnanimous leader, filled with humanity,
You are the emblem of a lion that bows to none!

A sacred tiger carrying the virtues of war,
The blazing flame of revolution, the horn of valor.
Your love for the Tamil language – eternal and unwavering,
Rooted in the motherland, sustained by sacrifice!

Dawn of Eelam, radiant flame of uprising,
Rising sun of courage piercing the darkest skies.
The high address of Tamils across the world – it is you,
Unmatched hero of our historical epic!

Your leadership – decisive, mighty, and bold,
A voice that shines like a guiding light on the battlefield.
Planning and strategy flow from your hands;
Every tactic paves the way to victory.

Your uniqueness glows – the power of insight,
A steadfast pioneer confronting all challenges.
Your vision and action are admired worldwide,
A glorious path leading to the liberation of Eelam Tamils!

Our longing for freedom – born from your being,
When inspired, your memory strengthens our courage.
In the oath of truth, igniting the flame of sacrifice,
Our lion-hearted leader, who has seen the battlefield!

Your shadow is valor; your breath, liberation.
Until the Tamil nation witnesses freedom, our march will never cease!
As the spear of Eelam Tamil liberation,
You shine eternally in the eyes of your people.

Every Tamil walking in your path,
Sings a song of freedom upon the earth!
Though the world watches, and foes may tremble,
Your skill and courage – the beacon of our liberation!

by Amizhthu
written by Amizhthu

A Symbol of Courage, Sacrifice and Freedom – Our Father of the Nation

by Amizhthu
written by Amizhthu

You stand as the living form of courage,
The embodiment of an unshaken will,
One who gave life to the very meaning
Of sacrifice and unwavering truth.

For the dream called freedom,
You became the breathing guide,
A sacred flame guarding a people’s identity,
A light forever kindled in our hearts.

Untainted by deceit,
Flawless in integrity,
With honour that never bowed
And bravery that never trembled —
These became your lasting legacy.

Upon a path where fear dared not follow,
You walked the way of justice,
Carrying within your soul
The strength to break the chains of oppression.

As the symbol of our nation,
As the pillar of our hope,
You remain a timeless history
Embraced by generations yet to come.

Courage, Sacrifice, Freedom —
You are the united form of all three,
Our Father of the Nation,
An undying pride of the Tamil people.

by Amizhthu
written by Amizhthu

நேற்றைய நினைவுகள் மழை பெய்கின்றன;

ஒரு சிறிய பெருமை நரம்புகளில் நடுங்குகிறது;

கடலின் நுரை போல ஒரு நம்பிக்கை;

ஒரு சிறிய ஒளி எரிகிறது;

Among Today’s Sorrows, This Is the Worst of All

by Amizhthu
written by Amizhthu

Among today’s sorrows, this is the worst of all—
as though the gentle currents of the mind
have been shattered into trembling fragments,
as if I have slipped into a deep cavern of silence
filled with shadows, dampness,
and endless echoes that
surround me like a celebration of pain.

The slender thread of hope
that once reached toward the light of tomorrow
now loosens in the slightest wind,
and a voice within me quietly asks:
“Why do you still carry all this?”

Yet I do not let go,
for even if this darkness
wipes away all the light from my eyes,
my heart, like an enduring thread,
continues to weave new tears
with unbroken persistence.

Across the wounds
engraved upon my heart,
yesterday’s memories fall like rain;
each drop seeps inward,
refusing to dry,
and silently questions—
“How long must the pain you bear
continue its journey?”

On this road where emotions falter,
a small pride trembles within my veins—
an urge to restrain the rising tears;
but pride hides its own cruel truth—
the breaking point
always breaks in silence.

Among today’s sorrows, this is the worst—
for without uttering a single word,
it leads me to the graveyard of memories,
digging out the past
like a long-buried treasure,
placing it in my hands,
and compelling me to weep again.

Yet within this sorrow
lies a concealed meaning—
a muted hope, like seafoam
emerging from the depths;
it whispers:
“This darkness is not something
that has swallowed you;
it is something you carry.”

Even as my heart shivers,
a faint light burns
within my fractured world;
it tells me—
“Tomorrow has yet to be born,
and for that birth,
you too must rise once more.”

Among today’s sorrows, this is the worst—
and yet, it teaches me that strength
does not roar or announce itself;
it rises quietly
from frozen tears
that melt into
a new rain of hope.

🔥 Black Tigers — The Fire That Shaped History

by Amizhthu
written by Amizhthu

That soil—
stained crimson by the sacred history written in blood.
That sky—
darkened by the smoke of war over the Tamil homeland.
That time—
a spark rising on 05.07.1987,
a memory immortal on 09.03.2009.

Out of the heart of that era
emerged legends—
the Black Tigers.

They were born not from comfort
but from sacrifice;
they forged their own bodies
into weapons of will;
they stepped into the jaws of death
and forced death itself to retreat.

The road they walked
was not a mere path—
it was a river of fire,
a battlefield where death bloomed
like cruel flowers at every step.

Yet not once
did their stride waver,
for in their hearts
beat a single undying word—
Tamil.
And a single, unbroken pride—
the pride of the Tamil people.

The land they fought for
was not mere earth;
it was the ancient temple
of the layered history of Eelam.

There,
they burned their bodies in the flames of sacrifice,
but lifted their ideals
as immortal stars
in the vast sky of liberation
that no power could ever dim.

The Black Tigers…
they were not just a force,
not just a generation;
they were—
a philosophy that defies time,
a fury that shatters oppression,
the ancient Tamil fire
reborn in modern form.

Today, their name
lives as a heartbeat,
glows as a light in history,
stands as an eternal silhouette
in the memory of the Tamil nation.

The death of an ordinary warrior
ends in a line of news.
But the passing of a Black Tiger
opens a new chapter in history.

The path they left behind
echoes with the scent of war
and the breath of the Tamil nation,
whispering a single, eternal vow:

“Take our lives if you must—
but our dream of liberation
will never be taken from us.”

Today…
to remember them is not enough;
to understand them
is the duty of every Tamil.

For the Black Tigers
did not merely defeat death—
they weaponized death.
From the ashes of the land
they awakened the spirit of a nation.

They were—
the thunderbolt of history,
the backbone of future Tamils,
the warriors who made the world
hear the word Tamil again
in the sound of steel and fire.

Their journey has not ended.
Their flame has not faded.
Their name will never dim.

Because
the Black Tigers
were not written as a poem—
they live as history.

by Amizhthu
written by Amizhthu
🪶

வரலாற்றின் கரும்பொரிய மின்னல்;
எதிர்கால தமிழரின் முதுகெலும்பு;

by Amizhthu
written by Amizhthu

The Flame of Sacrifice – Thileepan

by Amizhthu
written by Amizhthu

The body grew weak,
But the mountain of resolve never crumbled!
Hunger tightened its grip,
Yet the fire of struggle never dimmed!

Thileepan’s heart –
a nerve of revolution,
a pulse of a nation,
a spark for generations!

“Let others live,
even if my life burns away” –
in that vow of truth,
Sacrifice itself became a language.

Silent hunger unto death –
Yet within it roared a thunder:
“Freedom for the Tamils
is the meaning of my life!”

O Flame born of sacrifice!
In your light still rises rebellion,
still burns the firestorm,
still awakens the nation!
